### What is Babylon?

**Staking BTC via Everstake BTC Staking Dashboard**

To stake BTC and earn rewards in BABY tokens, you’ll need two separate wallets:

### **Step 2: Connect Your Wallet**

* Approve the wallet connection to the staking dashboard.

### **Step 3: Initiate Staking**

* Click **Stake**.
* Enter the amount of BTC you wish to stake.
* Review and agree to the staking terms.
* Approve the BTC staking transaction.

Opting to run your validator eliminates the need for trust and commission, granting you complete control over your stake and rewards, yet it requires capital investment into infrastructure and its maintenance.
