# Staking Guide

If you are new to staking, follow the steps described on this page to stake your tokens.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Learn basics of Staking

First of all, you can read about staking on our ℹ️ [Blog](https://everstake.one/blog) page.

Also will be useful:

* 📌 [FAQ](/staking-docs/faq.md)
* 📚 [Glossary](/staking-docs/glossary.md)
* Basic knowledge of how blockchain and validator works
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Choose Blockchain

When choosing a blockchain, we recommend paying attention to the inflation rate, APR, popularity of the blockchain, and stability of positions on the PoS market.

You can also see a list of all blockchains that support Everstake - ⚒️ [Protocols](/staking-docs/procotols.md)
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Choose wallets that supports staking <mark style="color:$primary;">with Everstake</mark>

Once you have decided on the blockchain where you want to stake your tokens, go to the page of this blockchain in ⚒️ [Protocols](/staking-docs/procotols.md) and check out the section "**Where can I stake?**".&#x20;

There you will find trusted crypto wallets that are also Everstake partners. Create a personal wallet and proceed to the next step.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Decide on the amount of tokens you will stake

For big players, Everstake offers a mutually beneficial partnership. Schedule a meeting with Everstake representatives ([Support](/staking-docs/support.md) -> Institutional Staking) and get a special rate that differs from the blockchain.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Watch the video about Staking (or read the manual)

Once you have completed all the previous steps and are familiar with all the intricacies of the blockchain you will be staking on, you can easily follow the steps outlined in the video guide or manual on ⚒️ [Protocols](/staking-docs/procotols.md) page
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Welcome to Web3.0!

{% endstep %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.everstake.com/staking-docs/staking-guide.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
